Brilliant. . Brilliant. . Brilliant. . Food ,concept, service and drinks with a fantastic cool atmosphere. . Cornwall at its best. . I’m a massive fan of this place and go every time I’m in Cornwall.. DONT pay attention to the new sayers on here with their negative reviews. . I think the fact you have to question to get a table every time it’s open says it all. . Anyone leaving a negative doesn’t understand the concept and quality and really should stick to going to chain restaurants and take any coupons they can muster. .

Got there pretty early on their last day of service for the summer and glad I did as this place does fill up! We had an absolutely delicious selection of Cornish seafood. Shout out to the whole turbot head - if you enjoy eating nose to tail (or, mouth to tail) this is the sort of dish that keeps on giving. Incredibly flavoursome and deceivingly large portion. Half Lobster with garlic butter, monkfish with curry mayo, cod’s roe on sourdough and lobster fritters all excellent. We didn’t feel the need for sides but had a tasty hispi cabbage and some sourdough to mop up all the good stuff. Lovely open kitchen and buzzy atmosphere. Dog friendly. Will definitely return if in the area again. Best place I ate at in Cornwall!

They need to update their google page as it says they are open and they are not. Been before and it was great………………………………………….,,,,,,,,,,….

Ate here twice on our stay in Fowey. Both times the service was a little indifferent, one waitress much friendlier and less offhand…as they add a ‘discretionary ‘ 12.5% for service to the bill this needs to be considered. Food is excellent however although a bit pricy as mentioned in other reviews but the flavour is all there and I loved every mouthful so am prepared to pay. Vibe is cool and ‘street-foody’ with an open kitchen and open to the road with a harbour view. Loved it really even if the wine glasses were too small ❤️

Way too pricey, and a limited menu, but food was delicious. I paid £5 for a thimble full of cider, ridiculous. But the nicest fish soup I think I've ever eaten.

Fantastic fresh food. Very relaxed and beautiful views. I love the vibe. Staff were so friendly. I will definitely visit again.

Really expected better - tiny tasteless drinks in tumblers at very high prices. The waitress seemed not to like customers and the portions were tiny for the price - what else can I say!

Food was a tad expensive, but lovely. Drinks were another matter. Glass of cider £5. The glass was smaller than what the dentist gives me to rinse..... So. I do recommend it, but watch what you order.

Great old warehouse building with open front and river view. Brick interior and sharing tables with an open kitchen make for a great vibe. Fabulous choice of seafood and fish options which are sharing/small type plates. Superb tasting food with a changing menu that literally changes during your visit. No seafood or fish restaurant is cheap so I don't know why so many posters 'complain' about the prices. The picture menu at the back, with prices can be seen from the street. I did find the 'water size glass' of beer at £3 not so good value but overall this is a great lunch restaurant and would return

Family of 5 ate here. Lovely fresh fish and seafood. Varied menu board which was ever changing whilst we sat and ate. We had between us battered hake in a bun, mackerel from the grill in green sauce, plaice, new pots and bread which was really tasty. The emphasis is on smaller plates and sharing. They’re only open at lunchtime, there’s no reservations, just turn up and wait, they’re dog friendly too

Nice place and good food.We wait to be seated more than 30 min. When we get there the girl told us that we should wait only 10 min. It was busy day but the food was ok.I don’t know why the service was more than any other place but I think it is too much 12,5%.

Food and is fresh and good but very dear for what it is and the small portion size. Didn’t feel at all valued as a customer and I got the impression that the staff were all at pains to just be really really cool. I think the place aspires to be laid back and chilled , trying to encapsulate the early Jamie Oliver wannabe Aussie vibe of relaxed dining prior to resuming beach life and hanging out with mates .

I was really excited to try North street kitchen after walking past a number of times and never being able to try it out. After a long car journey, we decided to go for a drink, it was myself, my boyfriend and we have a 9month old baby (she was in a carry strap on us) I have to say, we had one of the worst welcomes Iv had in a long time at a restaurant, the girl who we approached and asked if we could just have one of the bar stools for a drink, looked as if she wanted to turn us away, eventually she said we could have the bar stools at the end of the bar (next to the toilet and staff door) there wasn’t enough room to swing a cat, let alone 2 adults and a baby, there was however room at the other end of the bar, and when I asked it was possible to sit there, I got told (quite rudely) it was only for people eating. I was so close to saying forget it and walking out, but as I said, we had travelled far and just wanted a nice chilled drink. Luckily another member of staff came to serve us who was lovely, and made us feel a lot more welcome and actually asked if we wanted to move as there wasn’t much room where we were. That being said, the vibe is good at North street and I loved the interior, it’s just ashame the customer service by certain staff is so poor and because of this we won’t be returning.

Delicious food. There are no reservations, but it is worth the wait. Cooked simply, the food stands up on it's own and the staff are friendly and fair in allocating tables. We have been here half a dozen times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Naturally, there is a focus on fish, which we love. Sample menus attached in my photos.Parking: Parking is difficult in Fowey. The closest car park is by the ferry, and then it's a 10 minute walk from there.
