Found this pub very unfriendly as we walked in. Attempted to book a table as walk in customers and were told there were no more booking spaces. Went back to our accommodation and quite easily booked a table online! Suffice to say, by then we were totally disheartened and decided not to bother.

Popped in for a drink after a very cold (but beautiful ) Hall Walk. I just wanted a hot drink but alas, no plant milk at all available. Thank goodness this doesn't happen very often at all these days!Dietary restrictions: Please supply plant milk for vegans and those with milk allergy. Honestly it's only just over a pound in Tesco and the the long life does last quite a long while.

First evening the guy behind the bar told us at 7:55pm last dinner was served at 7:50pm. Second evening we wanted to order food at 7:40 pm but the bartender told us there is only take away food, 45min later another couple got dinner there. What a joke. Definetly not coming back here. The Lady working there was friendly.

Friendly staff, but service was a little chaotic. We did visit on Christmas day/ boxing day, so probably not representative overall.

This has been our local whilst on holiday in Polruan. Absolutely top notch pub with super friendly service, a fantastic atmosphere and brilliantly well kept real ales. Highly recommended!

Last bus from polperro got in at 6 on a Friday . The barman, Jack, let us get a takeaway fish and chips even though 10 minutes after takeaway hours.. Best fish and chips ever. Perfect portion and seasoning and perfect harbour view

End of season, booked table excellent meal, atmosphere and chit chat with staff. It was so good it felt like they laid on a boat launch for us. Would definitely recommend you take a visit.
