We enjoyed an exceptional Sunday roast beef which was very hot, tender with potatoes, swede, carrots, cabbage Yorkshire pudding, horseradish sauce with a jug of extra gravy. A small old fashioned country pub with a nice atmosphere. Thank you

Friday evening. Decent village pub with a good lot of customers. Beer very good, but only one type of wine - a routine Chilean Merlot. Food, we had half roast chicken, and huge , tasty pork loin chop with pepper sauce. Happily swapped chips to mash, veg ok.Overall a good experience, once a couple of noisy regulars had left.

Go here regularly for a drink and now and again for a meal which is always delicious home made food. A nice friendly crowd of people and staff, also polite and efficient. Nice atmosphere.Vegetarian options: There is various options for a vegetarian.No carpark but usually space on the road from the pub.Parking: There is only parking on the side of the road in the layby or the side road parking next to houses.

This is a great place tfor Sunday lunch and weekly lunch. The landlord is very friendly and the clientele very nice. A good basic pub with lovely food and service. Great as walking distance from home

NEW,THAI FOODLast week,March 2023,my wife and I popped in for a meal to our surprise and delight it was Thai night.The quality/taste and portion size was 5 star plus and not from a jar.Proper authentic food as good if not better than Bangkok and the Ales just as good.ThanksFirst visit last night since refurb and wow what a transformation !Great range of ales and food in a cozy welcoming environment.Thank you Tony.
