A hidden gem,well worth going out of your way to visit. It was busy, but staff were friendly & helpful, providing a great service. We only had tea & cake, but the meals being served up looked really appetising. What a great country atmosphere.
I keep coming back as this place is just beautiful. It feels magical. Very oldy worldy. The best home made cakes and afternoon teas. This time round I had a sandwich with the nicest thick soft bread. Fresh ham and home made chutney. There’s even a selection for dairy and gluten free which is hard to find for a tearoom. Exceptional. Feels really cosy and the staff a Lee super nice and helpful. Thank you!

We arrived a little after 4pm after a long coastal walk and the staff kindly served us even though 4pm was last orders & 4:30 closing time. This place is so olde worlde and beautifully furnished. We sat outside in the gorgeous garden and enjoyed a lovely cuppa in real china with pretty teapots. And the cakes were delicious! We loved this place and would love to return one day! Thank you to the kind staff ??
