Really delighted that this place has reopened, after a fire last year. Visit here once or twice each year, when on holiday locally, and always pleased with whatever we order. Fish and chips both cooked to perfection. Good veggie options too.

My second visit, this time after the renovations, and it was well worth it. Absolutely delicious fish and chips, the batter so light, chips plenty of them. The staff and service were lovely, even allowed to have dogs in the restaurant before 5 pm.Very reasonable priced, and the new decor is nice and comfortable, also wheelchair accessible.Highly recommend anyone visiting the area to stop and grab some. ?

Great food. Great atmosphere. The prices are extremely reasonable. We highly recommend The Cody Shack. The work they done on the new building is excellent.

Aaron was excellent, very friendly and knew the menu inside out.Food: We had the regular cod and chips - generous portion and the batter was nice and light. Pan seared cod and new potatoes - fish cooked well, not dry, and new potatoes had butter poured over them. And pan seared haddock and chips - lovely flavour and cooked just right. Yummy!

Nice restaurant, quite busy for a Tuesday with good quality food although it could have been a bit hotter. Staff were professional and attentive. Returned a few days later for breakfast which was also excellent.

Wow, what a fab place. Tara was our server, and she was warm, friendly and a lot of fun. We decided on 4 plates as tapas, the chowder, brie, scallops and whitebait. The chowder.........sublime, and the rest of the food was fantastic too.One thing, dogs aren't allowed after 5pm. Our little fella was OK with that, but be warned!

When 13 of us walked in for breakfast, the poor waitress almost had a tear in her eye, as she was on her own, but this wonderful lady, looked after us brilliantly, while looking after the rest of the restaurant, the food was so good, we all booked in for the evening, totally wonderful staff, very attentive and very welcoming, wonderful food, I could not fault.Well worth a visit.

Arrived back home this evening to find missing cod. 2nd time in 2 weeks that we have had something missing from our order. Luckily for us the first time we realised before we left but this time we got home. Tried to phone coddy shack but couldn't get through. Won't be making a 3rd visit.
