I can’t wait to see them opening again after devastating fire. This is my favourite restaurant when I am in south Cornwall’s coast. ( I am a Londoner ), I was just lucky enough to grab a delicious cod & chips takeout on the same day blast happened. I am sure they will come out of it, I wish them all the God’s help to rebuild this wonderful place once again. Cornwall has some of the best seafood in the country, and therefore some of the best fish and chip shops too. For me The Coddy Shack is the very best in the area by a margin. Excellent fish, good service and generous portions at fair prices. Eat in and takeaway are both great. The only down side is that it can get busy during peak tourist season, so keep that in mind. Sublime food though.

Wonderful haddock and cod with chips enjoyed hugely by all four of us. The lemon meringue is simply out of this world! A superb casual dining experience - cannot wait for the next visit, which wont be too long as we live within 15 minutes drive of the Coddy Shack.
