We were treated to the taster menu with recommended wines to accompany the individual dishes. I'm not normally a white wine drinker but it was outstanding how the food really enhanced the carefully chosen red and white wines. We absolutely loved our evening at Hartleys. The food was amazing, Andrew Durham is heading for a Michelin star, without a doubt. Superb precision cooking, with outstanding flavours and true inventiveness. The venue is unique, a converted shipping container in a car park, but inside you wouldn't know, it's intimate, personal, quirky, and very few tables. Visited during our visit to Newquay after seeing such brilliant reviews and would definitely recommend.Food was delicious, filling and unique. Service was excellent and it was great to hear about the courses direct from the chef. Couldn't fault it. Would go back again in a heartbeat.
