I am Leaving. A one star review having received a £100 car parking fine. I tried to appeal the fine. And my appeal is declined. I did Not see the parking notices that said I was parking on private land. I was at your restaurant for less than 2 hours. I had never been to Newquay before. I done know the area. I don’t intend coming back to your restaurant or Newquay again at all. Pizza tasted nice though!

Great tasty food and excellent friendly service for a fair price. Great selection of craft beers. Menu has changed a lot over the years but still solid

Not as good as it used to be ? Missing the pies but they also used to do the best pizza garlic bread with cheese. Pizzas not as good as they used to be either. Sad ?

Turned up mid week and luckily got a table, the food we all ordered was outstanding and cooked to a high standard. The drinks menu is vast with a great selection of cider and lagers. Staff are helpful and friendly. Only one thing of note, if you are not a dog lover this might not be the restaurant for you! They seem to let a lot of people in with dogs, which is great but at one stage there were as many dogs as there were table’s Overall highly recommended great fresh cooked pizzas.

out of four pizzas, two had undercooked cheese, one had a quarter of it's toppings missing. Constantly asked if we where ready to order as soon as we sat down. Nowhere near as good as other locations we've visited.

Just to say I’ve eaten here dozens and dozens of times over the years. Most of this time the food and experience has been good. The sad reality is everything here is mostly running on 30% effort and power. It’s just not there apart from the view. To explain. Staff- mixed feelings, some staff happy to help and pleasant working hard. Others looking busy but not really doing much. Hence the filthy tables with food under your feet and no napkins/salt pepper etc. some staff just gruff and rude. Remember I’m a paying customer paying all your wages! Food/alcohol- food quantity and size from my last few visits has diminished greatly. Yes some people will notice! ( picture to follow) the garlic bread is half the size and devoid of taste, a pale uninteresting effort compared to the recent past. Pizza ? itself small bit of topping in the middle, sauce on base only covering some of pizza. Again a pale washed out pizza if ever there was one! This has been happening so often now. Mac and cheese, very little cheese very little taste. Devoid of taste. Anaemic a let down. Alcohol- there’s a decent choice of drinks. The big issue- it’s idea ? was to be a cider and pizza bar/restaurant??? Very few ciders these days ???!!!! If staff have trouble fitting you in they tell you to visit the beach bar down stairs. ( which stable now run) this will be for the best part of an hour! Win win for stable, loose loose for the customers!! ( I’m not going to do that) some drinks are more expensive than Sloan ranger street in London why??!!! ( can I have locals rates? Appear to be a lot cheaper across Newquay) Tables are free not just for bigger groups but small tables. I often see tables for four being used for two, but apparently not the case when speak to some staff members. Always conflicted confused information given to the customer??!! You can book in person/ we want your trade when it’s quiet/ we don’t reserve tables/ we mostly won’t answer the phone for bookings/ book a table. Not sure…….. it just depends! Overall- just not there anymore. The overall experience and food and cider choice has massively been reduced. It’s just become an expensive big overpriced hassle and a time wasting experience. I’m obviously bothered about the business as I’ve enjoyed the many times, I’ve spent there and supported it. Hence the time consuming feedback. When there just two people four times a year, four meals a week for both, we’ve become 36x customers, I want it to be good… I know you serve huge amounts of customers, but surely I have some value??? Oh after complaining about pizza was offered 20% off. I used to tip more than this. Not likely to happen again…

We had two pizzas take away from here early September. The order wasn’t on time but it was worth the wait - really delicious pizza and a great range of topping options. We also had the nearly naked tots (fried potato with a little sea salt and Parmesan) - they were delicious too! Highly recommended.

Visited twice within a week as we always do when in the area. Fantastic pizza, cider and views. The place is always full in season so definitely be sure to book but takeaways are just as good. I am a coeliac and have a lot of choice. All pizzas can be done on a gluten free base and the as for the tater tots - I could eat a bucket load. The staff work really hard and it would be nice to see more people tip……they definitely deserve it.

Brilliant meal! From the moment we arrived on a crazy busy Friday evening, the staff were lovely and very friendly, very accommodating to my little dog but warned us there would be a 30 minute wait. The food came a lot quicker than we expected and was gorgeous, my husband said best pizza he had eaten since working in Italy! Lots of veggie options on the menu and loved being able to add extra veggie toppings that were a bit more interesting than the standard peppers. Highly recommend the tater tots, get a portion each or you will fight over them. It has amazing views and a buzzing atmosphere, lovely staff and great food…downside the parking fees but they can’t control that daylight robbery!

Return visit following coasteering on fistral with Bare Foot Coasteer (highly recommended). Pre-booked a table as we thought it might be very busy, but the weather wasn't great so Fistral was not as packed as normal. We had a table in the large window with a great view over the beach and ocean. There didn't seem to be that many waiting staff on and we did have to call someone over to take our order, but then drinks arrived promptly and a short wait for freshly cooked pizzas. Ingredients all seemed fresh and they make their own dough for the bases on-site, our Family of 6 ordered pizzas so can't comment on anything else from the menu which is mainly pizzas and salads. Pizzas were well cooked and tasted good. Amazing variety of ciders to try -well worth exploring that menu.

Absolutely terrible experience…. I visited a few years ago and had a lovely meal there, and was excited to return! Following a 6hour drive to Cornwall we decided to go to the stable for a pizza and from the start it was appalling…. Table had no cutlery or napkins, the app to order didn’t make it clear how to order gluten free options, the first starter of garlic bread came out incorrectly and had no flavour, then the main pizzas finally arrived after an incredibly long wait and again they were awful ?. My boyfriends pizza had a base so thin you could see through it, my gluten free pizza was more artichoke than pesto chicken. We asked a couple of staff members for napkins, dips etc and ended up getting them ourselves as we were forgotten about. Do not recommend, unfortunately not worth the re-visit.

Affordable Pizza done well with a fabulous view and a still mango cider! What more could you ask for ! Dog friendly inside too! We love coming to this place as it’s great for kids , quick and everyone is happy. My husband is gluten and dairy intolerant but they do a gluten and dairy free version so even he can join in! We visit at least twice each time we are in Newquay and it never disappoints We did get ignored once we had our food so had to ask 2 people for drinks but they were very busy due to sea shanty band on below! We will no doubt be back in the next few days!

We enjoyed a family meal here before we headed back to the north east. This was by far was the best meal we had over the weekedn. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff really friendly. I would go back any time for the sourdough pizzas. Well done. Absolutely lush.Parking: Crowded car park

The headline speaks the truth: the pizza, while not terrible, certainly lived up to its name in terms of pacing. I watched as several other diners' who arrived after myself and their orders danced out of the kitchen, while mine seemed to be on an extended vacation to an alternate culinary universe. The food pizza dough itself appeared to be in need of a sunbath. If pizza crusts had feelings, this one would surely suffer from an identity crisis – a shade of pale that even SPF 100 couldn't rescue. It's like the dough didn't get the memo that it was supposed to be the sturdy foundation of a delicious masterpiece. And then there was the Mac and cheese, which, ironically, should probably be renamed "Just Mac." The lack of flavor was a mystery that Sherlock Holmes himself couldn't solve. It's as if the cheese got stage fright and decided to play a disappearing act, leaving the macaroni feeling rather lonely. While the food wasn't a total disaster, having to wait an hour for our meal left me yearning for more than just a slice of authenticity. Average at best.
