Reserved table set up before arrival. Appropriately-timed offer of drinks. Food we chose was of exceptionally good quality. Well patronised. Friendly employees. Dog friendly.

We booked for Sunday lunch, it's a very busy place so best to book in advanceThe Sunday lunches are amazing!!Lots of meat and beautifully cooked (we had roast pork), which came with a selection of vegetables served separately. And it came with a huge Yorkshire pudding and pork cracklingPersonally I thought the crackling was too salty for me, and the Yorkshire wasn't necessaryThe meal is big enough without a Yorkshire pudding over half the size of the plate plopped on topIt's not a negative comment just personal preference, I did my best to eat it!!We were too full to tackle a dessert, but we have eaten them before. Reasonable selection and absolutely deliciousEasily enough to share!!The staff were amazing, welcoming, cheerful and attentive. Definitely a good strong working teamThe alcoholic and soft drink selection is very goodVery reasonably priced for the quality and quantity servedLovely outdoor garden and beautiful to sit out in the summerNot a huge amount of parking, but we did book for 1pm which was obviously their bust timeThere is a real fire in the car area, but to get a table there you do need to book in advance!!We love it here, the food and staff are great. Lovely atmosphere and we've never been disappointed

Excellent food, excellent staff wonderful ale. We had Sunday lunch for £16 each and we ended up very full! ...could hardly stagger out to the car. I had a pint of St Austell Tribute which was very good - nearly as good as Proper Job which is my absolute favourite.

While on holiday wanting to have a Sunday lunch ,we came upon the Two Chimes, absolutely delicious food, what a plateful ,not only the roast meat and yorkshire pudding (huge) we had two other choice of vegatables besides the vegatables served separately. The sweet choice was delicious as well (sticky pudding ) large portion. The service was 1st class and ALLthe staff were very welcoming .If your staying near Newquay ,we highly recommend you visit this pub and restaurant for meal.

We came for Sunday lunch with friends and were blown away with the friendly staff , excellent service and incredible food. The Sunday lunch is amazing , the beef was beautifully cooked accompanied by stunning roasters , Yorkshire pudding and vegetables . Not only was the food incredible the price is affordable and portions generous. Likewise the dessert, orange and chocolate brioche bread and butter with custard was a winner. Well done to the team in this beautiful pub . We will be back when we are back in the area .

Although the views from the Lewinnick Lodge are good , the atmosphere and service at the Two Clomes is excellent ! When it comes to the food , it is considerably tastier at a fraction of the cost! A good wine selection too.

Best roast dinner around and we’ve tried most of them!

Firstly I must say I haven't had time to try the food there yet, but I will at some point. I will point out that they serve an excellent pint of Guinness. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, the service is very good, just for that I pop back regularly (obviously for the Guinness as well though).Ten out of ten, not expecting the food to be anything less than excellent when I do try it. Would advise anyone to pop in, it's a lovely pub, full of character, charm and yet with a chilled and relaxed atmosphere.

This is our local and we are super happy it is!Lovely food as always and the staff were extremely friendly. Our daughter doesn't like certains foods and having them touch - the waiter overheard us ask her if she wanted us to scrape it off and he was extremely accommodating by offering to change the plate and asked her directly what she wanted to keep/get rid of. Great service as always!

In a group of 6, 2 were dissatisfied with the food. The burgers had a really strange taste and just crumled when cut, as though no binding agent had been used. The rest of the group really enjoyed their food.
