Set in a lovely location and very easy parking. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and a lot of effort had been made to decorate the place for Xmas. We were a family of 4 adults and 10month old baby. We felt very welcomed by the staff instantly and the area was spotlessly clean. Having had excellent food here before in the past we decided to book for Sunday lunch. Once again we were not disappointed. The pub was decorated beautifully for Christmas with a lovely tree and fairy lights strung around the roof beams. It made for a wonderful atmosphere. The tables were spotlessly clean and laid very smartly including a lit tealight candle, all the little touches that add to a great dining experience. Start of the evening we walked into this stunning looking establishment. Absoulty beautiful!! Greated by a very helpful lady behind the bar who was able to seat a table of 6 last minute. Menu choices ....so hard to chose as all sounded amazing. My father and mother in law had the anti pasti board, we had the salt and pepper squid and also the scallops , veryvery nice.
