The owners are so friendly and accommodating.The rooms are well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated, we stayed in The Stone Dresser Room which had a lovely view over the church and river. Loved the added extras of a decanter of sherry and plenty of tea and coffee which is often lacking in most hotels. They even include a little box of things you might have forgotten, a really nice touch. Lovely comfy bed and pillows.Breakfast was amazing, great choice and we didn't mind ordering the night before, plenty of it and great quality. It was just a shame about the weather as the outside space was beautiful and we would have loved to be able to sit outside in the morning and enjoy it.Highly recommend this little hidden gem.

It is a perfect place to stay in the peace and quiet of Cornwall.We stayed for one night in the room overlooking the bridge and stream, so romantic listening to the sounds of the river at night ❤️.Everything about The old mill makes you happy. From greeting to saying goodbye, the family run business couldn't do enough for us.Dinner in the restaurant was very good. Being veggy was not an issue, and I ate well, and one with a milk allergy ate well too. Great selection of beer and wine, and we wanted for nothing.Breakfast was the same. Nice and relaxed and tasty.This place is a bargain for what you get.We will definitely be back!!!

This is a lovely old mill sympathetically converted to a B & B in a village close to Padstow. It is directly opposite the church which had a flower festival during our stay adding to the traditional village ambiance. The owners and staff are friendly and do everything to make your stay good. We had a fairly small but comfortable room in the newer ( Victorian) extension. Being offered fresh milk for the room instead of UHT was a welcome touch. The bus into Padstow stops very close to the property although the times may be variable . We found it a real bonus not to have to drive in or out of Padstow for our dinner on our first night. The second night we ate on site at the Bistro - a good decision. It operates in the dining room of the Old Mill House. There is a varied menu and everything we had was delicious. We would certainly recommend a stay here.

The house is beautiful and has kept most of the original features. Set in a quiet location by the running river. The rooms are perfect for a short stay with well kept furnishings and clean bathroom. The restaurant is spacious and clean, minimal decoration keeps the feel of the old mill. The owners are welcoming & friendly and certainly know how to add those special little touches to make your stay special. There were no negatives about this property or location, except the buses are rarely on time so you can expect long waits . I would only recommend that there are options to change pillows as we personally found them uncomfortable. We will bring our own next time.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful B&B, we didn’t want to leave! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was super cosy and clean and the breakfast was the best I’ve had in a very long time, with all locally sourced ingredients. The location is also great, a short drive (or long walk) from Padstow Harbour and not too far from Newquay. We only regretted not booking dinner at the bistro! Thank you to Debbie and Ashley for making our trip to Cornwall extra special! Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

We’ve driven passed this place for years and finally decided to stay, we have missed out for years. Lovely friendly owners and staff, nothing was too much trouble. Provided excellent vegan breakfast, apparently the traditional breakfast was spot on too! Easy to get to Padstow. Will definitely be back.

A very nice place to stay and Ash and Debbie the owners are always pleased to do everything to make your stay special. The choice of breakfasts is substantial and the cooked breakfast are excellent. It is conveniently situated within walking distance of Padstow along a path just across the road from the B&B and not far from Wadebridge. I would also recommend the evening Bistro. The food is excellent. I don't think you could get better.Well Don Debbie, Ash and Adam.

We stayed at this fabulous B&B for 2 nights at the start of our holiday , what a beautiful place ! We were in the Flour Store overlooking the church and bridge. The room was spotless and very comfortable, very fresh , lovely towels and the bed was so cosy , slept really well . Some nice little extras in the bedroom and bathroom. Had a gorgeous dinner in the bistro , food was excellent, the breakfasts are fantastic, lots of choice. Staff very friendly. The garden was so pretty and a lovely place to sit and enjoy. All in all it was perfect, the owners have thought of everything, will definitely come back !
