The owners are so friendly and accommodating.The rooms are well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated, we stayed in The Stone Dresser Room which had a lovely view over the church and river. Loved the added extras of a decanter of sherry and plenty of tea and coffee which is often lacking in most hotels. It is a perfect place to stay in the peace and quiet of Cornwall.We stayed for one night in the room overlooking the bridge and stream, so romantic listening to the sounds of the river at night ❤️.Everything about The old mill makes you happy. From greeting to saying goodbye, the family run business couldn't do enough for us.Dinner in the restaurant was very good. This is a lovely old mill sympathetically converted to a B & B in a village close to Padstow. It is directly opposite the church which had a flower festival during our stay adding to the traditional village ambiance. The owners and staff are friendly and do everything to make your stay good. We had a fairly small but comfortable room in the newer ( Victorian) extension. Being offered fresh milk for the room instead of UHT was a welcome touch.
