Lovely floral pint of Tribute and a very helpful bar lady. Trimmed down number of ales, only bottled cider and a reduced menu for the off season, but the four mains tried were very enjoyable.
a really bad English meal, boiled beef with a questionable sauce, inedible roast potatoes, luckily there were a few boiled vegetables to fill my stomach. the worst English meal in 3 years
It was Friday afternoon in the off season, so we were the only visitors. They had a restricted menu, mostly burgers, a limited choice of beers as they had run out and when I asked for mayonnaise they had also run out. I've marked it up because the bar person was very helpful and chatty and it looks like a super place to spend some time if it was busier.
After a visit to the tin mines and a good walk, food was on my mind. Being a Sunday, it was always difficult to find availability, but the King's Arms was very accommodating. 2 meats on the roast menu, and a great selection of drinks. The food was quick to make and to a good standard and size portion, Yorkshire was slightly burnt but still good, vegetables were very nice. Overall, a very old school cornish pub serving good quality food and drinks.
Can not praise the staff in this pub highly enough. We had booked Sunday lunch, but my husband took poorly, I phoned to cancel then thought I wonder. A takeaway lunch. They were AMAZING and could not do enough for me carried it to the car and everything. Over and above. THANK YOU.
Excellent local pub serving great food
Great food, had the fish Thai curry loads of veg and huge chunks of fish!
superb little pub with great staff.. lovely beers... a generally bulk standard menu but served quickly with good sized portions... you can tell its freshly cooked...
Fantastic food, fresh produce, lovely atmosphere, great friendly staff. A lovely evening had by our party.
Shame the food is rather bog standard. Not like it was 5 years ago. Choice of beers good, and friendly team.

We were looking for a place to eat late on a Friday night and they were still serving at about 8:30pm as I recall. The welcome was friendly and I had a perfect Mushroom Nut Wellington, served with new potatoes, carrots, a little cabbage and delicious vegetarian gravy. Just what I wanted. The ambience was cosy and a bit old-worlde, just what we were hoping for.
Great stakes, real wood burning fireplace, warm vibes. No better place than this for a late evening drink in St Just
Great place, delicious burgers and good selection of beers, well worth visiting if your in the area.
Delicious mussels starter for the 3 of us followed by the risotto for me and a friend and the pie for my partner. We enjoyed every mouthful and will certainly visit again next time we're near St Just. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and lovely food, would thoroughly recommend.
Great service, excellent drinks to just chill and watch the world go by....
