We just fell upon this pub by accident and were so glad we had.It's a real spit and sawdust pub ( not many of them around these days) with lots of character.We only had drinks which were very reasonably priced. Extremely friendly locals but for us the icing on the cake was the hilarious landlord who had us laughing from the minute we entered, not very often you come across someone like that these days. Well established old school pub on the square in St just. Doesn't do food but does have a good selection of ale. Friendly landlord and locals. Interesting photos and curios from the mining community. Open mic on Thursdays. Open late. Highly recommended ?

Great historic pub. Really atmospheric interior. Friend hard working staffWhat makes it special is the local music night on a Thursday 8 until late. Wide variety of local musicians doing a few songs each. Great supportive atmosphere.
