The pub did not fail to deliver. Food is fresh, tasty and service is excellent. For those who love a shanty - the Cornish sea shanty’s make for a great atmosphere.”

“This has been our 5th year coming to Cornwall and it's been our 3rd year staying at The Weary Friar, me and my fiance have loved staying at this accommodation, lovely pub, lovely area, the owners and staff are so lovely and welcoming! “Lovely fresh homemade food. Everything was homemade, including the mash and the chips. Very reasonable prices and friendly atmosphere. My family don't usually finish all their meals, but everything got demolished here, including puddings, that speaks volumes for how lovely the food was. Would highly recommend the Beef Brisket Pie or the Fish pie.”
