Restaurants in Saltash

Rod & Line
Church Rd, Tideford, SaltashThis is special place with more characters than a box of typewriter keyboards.Great simple food we had the roast which was amazing. The staff were amazing if not a bit eccentric. But that’s the beauty of it highly recommended with all its quirks.

Crocadon Farm
St Mellion, SaltashWe had the most incredible birthday meal at Crocadon just over a month ago. The attention to detail was simply amazing and we were served personally by Dan who explained every dish and how the produce is grown and sourced. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

The Fresh Fox
81 Fore St, SaltashGreat place, food and service. We had breakfast and the quality of the items was superb. You can always judge a breakfast by the quality of the sausage ?. The coffee was nice too. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Eliot Arms
Fore St, St Germans, SaltashWe came here for a quick drink before getting the train home and it seemed like a nice enough pub. The landlord was playing the piano when we came in and the pub was suitably decorated for Halloween! Good range of drinks available and the locals seemed nice enough too. Plenty of parking available which was surprising for such a tiny village.

Brightside Roadside Dining Saltash
Trerulefoot, SaltashOne of our favourite family diners when were on holiday in Cornwall, we always pay a visit, Rachel and team are always super lovely and attentive, food is great and the interiors are Wes Anderson meets Stranger Things, the attention to detail is fabulous, including the very retro avocado bathrooms. The Notter Bridge Inn
Notter, Bridge, SaltashLovely fresh homemade food. Everything was homemade, including the mash and the chips. Very reasonable prices and friendly atmosphere. My family don't usually finish all their meals, but everything got demolished here, including puddings, that speaks volumes for how lovely the food was. Would highly recommend the Beef Brisket Pie or the Fish pie.

The Ploughboy
60 Liskeard Rd, SaltashFirst time visitor, and won’t be the last
Popped in for dinner to check the place out for its pub quiz.
Staff are genuinely old style super friendly and we were greeted with a warm welcome
The food is good ole, old school pub grub without the stupid prices being charged elsewhere. It even has a pie warmer for pasties, sausage rolls etc!
Our food was amazing, served piping hot and delicious. The portions sizes are super generous, my wife’s ciabatta was packed full of ham and cheese.
The mash with my pie was obviously home made and delicious (as was the pie)
Food and drinks prices are what I call “local prices” and not over inflated for the holidaymaker market.
Oh and the pub quiz (every other Monday) was extremely well run, fun, entertaining and there wasn’t a”Google” in sight

Tamar Spice
3A, Brunel Heights, Fore St, SaltashPossibly the best Indian Curry that I have tasted. The chef is first class; useing the very best ingredients; the correct proportions of herbs and spices and doesnt overcook. Their king prawns are the real thing - like lobster tails, very tasty, and their vegeratian dishes are exceptional.

The Rodney
375 New Rd, Saltash8 of us on a golf weekend. Booked months in advance but on the night they had no record of booking. Fortunately, even though it was a Friday, they weren't busy so could fit us in.
We chose the banquet for 8 (c) and the food that was served up was amazing.
High quality from the sweet and hit soup, to aromatic crispy duck pancakes, starters and many, many main dishes
Serve throughout by the waitresses was excellent.
Highly recommend.

Subway
Callington Rd, SaltashVisited twice during our week long stay at the travelodge. Both times we went we had great service and the food was fresh, quick and tasty. We couldn’t get their names but the first time we were serviced by somebody with blue ear piercings and the second time by a woman with their name beginning with ‘D’ (I think Debbie) Didn’t get a good look at their names but both were friendly and thorough with getting our order correct ❤️.

Codfathers
Barclays Bank Plc, 28 Fore St, SaltashThe food especially the fish would have been delicious but it was so badly wrapped for takeaway, it was actually sandwiched in a pile of chips what would have been tasty crispy batter , was in fact a soggy mess. Shame cos it tasted very nice.Parking: Generally hit and miss.
