We have been wanting to try this pub since we watched Rick Stein speak about it on tv a while ago. We visited the area for new year and were not disappointed with our experience at this quirky, cosy, welcoming pub. What a great village pub. Real ale, good food and atmosphere. I have stayed here a few times now over several years as part of a group of 6 to 9 people. Really enjoyed it every time.

Lovely friendly place to eat we had seafood gumbo as our main and a fruit crumble for after both were amazing staff were very nice will definitely be back to this little gem of a place soon
