Wow what can I say… great little place with a very relaxed atmosphere… currently on holiday from Twickenham (London) but was made to feel right at home… in fact it felt as if they went the extra mile… in truth it was probably another night providing great customer service for the team… been the only African American on the night, I felt invisible, no awkward moments or stares which is always appreciated… the food was a real treat and I left feeling disappointed I couldn’t finish my plate… believe me they don’t hold back on the portions and it’s not to over compensate for quality… I felt I walked away getting one over on old Becky considering what we paid for the meal… in the end we left a well deserved tip

Take out fish and chips was amazing beautiful fishUnfortunately 3 of our party order pizza which they didn't really like. It could have been a cheap pizza from a supermarket.... sorry guys.

Visit here regularly, best fish n chips around, food is always freshly cooked as it is an open kitchen.Fish has plenty of flavour and the chips dont taste or feel like cardboard.Reasonably priced, portions are filling.Plenty of car parking at the rear and you can also eat inside if you wish.Parking: PlentyfulWheelchair accessibility: Easy access

Great place for best value fish and chips. We received a warm welcome at Becks and although you can’t book we didn’t have to wait for a table on a Saturday. This is an old fashioned quirky place with no frills but good quality fish and chips. They do specials which I made the mistake ordering fish curry, it was ok but my husband’s cod and chips was excellent. Service is quick and drinks on offer just what you need. This would have been a 5* but my fish curry wasn’t great, I should have ordered what they’re best at.

This store smell is unbearable. We went to order, took our food with us, it was not seasoned at all. Also, greasy.

The restaurant was very crowded at 6:30pm, so we ordered take-away. The food still tasted good. Selection of Cod, Haddock, Hake; Cod was firm and flaky and Hake was more delicate. Chips and onion rings were nicely done. Scampi was okay. We enjoyed our take-away meal.
