Great place for best value fish and chips. We received a warm welcome at Becks and although you can’t book we didn’t have to wait for a table on a Saturday. This is an old fashioned quirky place with no frills but good quality fish and chips. They do specials which I made the mistake ordering fish curry, it was ok but my husband’s cod and chips was excellent. Service is quick and drinks on offer just what you need. The restaurant was very crowded at 6:30pm, so we ordered take-away. The food still tasted good. Selection of Cod, Haddock, Hake; Cod was firm and flaky and Hake was more delicate. Chips and onion rings were nicely done. Scampi was okay. We enjoyed our take-away meal.

Becks is the first place we head too whilst staying in St Ives, and it never disappoints! It’s the best choice for Celiacs around & the gluten free fish and chips are amazing. My daughters also had Gf sausage and the gf pizza was massive & delicious! We always feel safe eating here and the staff are always so friendly & efficient. Thank you
