Popped in for a cheeky brunch/lunch on a day off. Can highly recommend the cheese scones - the accompanying chutney is gorgeous! The sweet scones (because if you have a savoury scone you've got to follow it with a sweet one) we're lovely too. Oodles of toppings for both! The hot chocolate and latte were just what we needed on a chilly, rainy day.We can't recommend Charlie's enough!

Warm welcome, great artisan home baked bread and delicious home cooked soup.Wheelchair accessibility: Not ideal as 2 small entrance doors but outside courtyard is great in warmer weather.

Lovely little cafe with a countryside feel, staff were friendly, food was absolutely delicious. Best Lemonade I've ever had too! Highly recommend!

A wonderful dinner last night at Charlie's from their Christmas menu. 15 friends gathered there and everyone said their meal was absolutely delicious. Turkey served with all the trimmings, succulent slow roasted pork belly with crackling, roasted monkfish- all with a great attention to detail. Reasonable prices and a friendly and warm welcome. Daniel and Rebecca have created something very special here at Charlie's- if you've never been, you are missing a treat. Thoroughly recommend!

The best Dahl with homemade flatbread and kimchi ever! We waited a while to get it, along with a curried soup with home made bread, but wow was worth the wait. Chef working out of a tiny kitchen obviously knows and loves his food. Lovely job!

Came here after a long walk, and we were not disappointed. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady. I had the cream tea with coffee, and my partner had the ham sandwich with a coffee. The cream tea was amazing. It was fluffy and served warm. My partner said his sandwich was the best he's had, the ham was thickly sliced, and it contained a lovely mustard sauce. You will not be disappointed with their sandwich fillings. We also had to grab some homemade bread to take back with us. This is a lovely family orientated cafe with excellent customer service. We would highly recommend it.
