Had a really lovely dinner here, my partner had the Mackerel salad, my son and I both shared the Goats cheese salad and the chickpea salad. All delicious, lovely and fresh. Manager was lovely and cheerful and friendly. Saw two wasps....because, ya know....it's the height of summer *rolls eyes. Will definitely return.
I loved having this place right across the street. The food was fresh and really good, whether it was breakfast, tea, or take-away pasties for dinner (we had it all there). The owner is friendly and funny and helped me figure out what dessert to bring to a friend's dinner. There's a snarky review below in which I think the person didn't get the owner's sense of humor, but it's really not an issue--you won't be disappointed!

Dropped in for a coffee today, pleasant enough but fairly ordinary tbh. Also the cups are quite small so not really value for money. I don’t want to put anyone off but I think the cafe could ‘try harder’ perhaps?
