Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. We made a couple modifications over email before our trip and the staff was very responsive and helpful. When we arrived the staff continued to be exceedingly friendly and helpful. Every aspect of our stay was stellar. The rooms were small (which was expected) but clean, nice, and full of charm. The food was delicious all around. It’s also right across from the entrance to the castle. I plan on traveling back to Tintagel someday just to stay here again!

Booked a 3 night stay for our wedding anniversary, after watching 4 in a bed. The programme didn't do them justice. Had an outstanding stay. From the quaint and extremely clean rooms, the food is to die for, and we have never met staff before that were so friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely be going back again, and would like to thank everyone at the olde malthouse for making our anniversary so memorableRooms: The rooms were clean and tidy and functional in an old quaint building. Bed was really comfortable which for someone that struggles to sleep, is a godsendFood & drinks: The food was beautiful. The breakfast, which is included in the room rate was good produce will a good selection and cooked to perfection. The evening meals of which we tried 3 of the selection over the 3 nights were outstanding. Good local produce, extremely well cooked and well presented. Definitely good value for money.

Great food, beer and friendly staff, highly recommend.
