So many memories. My wife and I went to the Finnygook 30 years ago before we were married. A few changes (I think) but the beer was still good, the food looked excellent (shame we didn't have time to stop) and the staff were very

I've left 5 Stars as it would be unfair to this business to do otherwise. We tried twice to get a meal from here as we were staying locally and it was recommended by our landlord. We arrived at the venue only to find nowhere to park. We waited for a while but only more cars turned up and we nearly witnessed an accident because the parking was so tight and limited. The second occasion we came, we waited and managed to get a parking place but by then it was 10 minutes past the "last orders for food" which is 8pm. At that point we gave up. I'm sure the place is lovely and the food is great, but if you want to go, walk, get a lift, or get a taxi there. If we are ever staying near here again we will try again and I'll update this review accordingly.

Went for a roast here with my family. Ordered a gluten free roast as I'm gluten intolerant. Food came out, ate half of my meal only to have the waitress snatch my food away. She had given a meal that wasn't gluten free! Very apologetic, but I spent the rest of the day and all through the night with stomach pains and bloating. Not fun.
