Always have great service here, however im always a little bit disappointed when people just come in off the street and use tables before they have been served. They should not be seated until served to make it fair on the people that have queued up for 10 minutes.

I wanted to get a drink and to have in but, first I was desperately needing the toilet as I have ibs symptoms, and, although it was cordoned off, whether this was for cleaning or for purposes such as short of staff, or because other people were coming in to use the toilet, was refused. I explained I have ibs symptoms and was desperately needing the toilet. I also explained I had every intention of buying a drink and a. Cake, but the man, not sure of his name with the glasses, three times said the toilets are closed, for customers. I walked out dishevelled and upset to a 'thank you', and although this is not Costas fault, did get caught short. So although it was cordoned off, and I tried to go through anyway, before being told they were closed for customers, I am disgusted by the attitude of this cafe, and this bloke, as I am a regular at Costa outlets, and if you're customers are paying good money to drink and eat in they should be allowed to use you're public conveniences. A great advert for visitors from afar. Let me rest assure I will never visit this Costa again

Visited the Costa in Truro and while looking for a seat my wife was balled at and shouted at by a young worker from Costa with no regard for our age group, I am 70. So we left. I understand we have guidelines but come on Where's the understanding for people. Disgraceful.

To many people ordering "smoothies" makes the service slow. Nice enough seating in a reasonably central location..

Fancy a nice quiet drink in Truro, want to pause and take a breath from the crowds for a bit? This first floor Costa above Waterstones is perfect for the coffee or book lover (perhaps you're both!) curl up with the newspaper or a book for an hour and overlook Truro's highstreet away from the hustle and bustle.
