We’ve been staying close the the pub all week and visited several times. What some may consider rudeness is simply good friendly banter and we found the bar staff friendly, funny and full of useful local knowledge. The land lady is simply like sitting next to your mum for the evening in front of the fire. Ann is one of the loveliest people you are likely to meet. The food is traditional and served with pride. We loved this place and the people in it.

This pub has an authentic atmosphere hard to find elsewhere these days. Proper character with all the clocks (which we love) and proper characters running it. Annie's steaks are hard to beat - just simple food, cooked to perfection. We visited twice during our week's stay in Wadebridge, once just for drinks (the local beer is great) and again for dinner. Thank you - we will be back!

Horological paradise. If you like clocks, you will love this place. Food might be a bit iffy and limited. But people who criticise the landlady are missing the point. She is a delight. It takes a lot of skill and practice to behave the way she does. We came out laughing anyway.

Really charming and very quaint old Inn with much character tucked away in a quiet lane. Good food and friendly staff. Antique clocks really make this old Inn unique. Loved it!

Lovely pub. One of the best interiors. Really cosy and spotlessly clean. The toilets were also very clean.Staff are very friendly and food is very nice.

Wonderful Saturday lunch, everything was cooked to perfection excellent ales and wine, cannot be faulted. The ambiance of over 200 clocks ticking away is also a unique experience.

Go back in time , mind your head and ears . Thought the woman behind the bar was acting , and related to basil fawlty.Turns out she isn't, food good but limited menu .Old lady in rocking chair knitting part of the acting .This pub probably only appears every 100 years !!

Delicious home cooked pub grub served in an good old fashioned pub! We liked it so much we came back the next day! I had fillet steak served with peas, mushrooms, half a tomato and chips very reasonably priced followed by delicious treacle tart and clotted cream! Happy to serve smaller portions from the menu for my granddaughter! Today I’ve had roast beef with 5 vegetables plus roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding! Not easy to find so drive slowly through Egloshayle and turn up past the church, then a sharp right hand turn which could easily be missed! Quirky interior with LOADZ of clocks! Definitely will call in again!

Nice pint of Hick's, new choice for me, named after the founder of the St Austall brewery, toffee and raisins?? Delish, if you've got the time.....! You'll know what I mean if you drop in. Lovely Landlady/ Bar keep. Will be back...

Great decision not to allow dogs. Who on earth wants to eat a lovely meal surrounded by dogs. Thankyou so much

Best pub I have ever been to. I love clocks so it’s great to see so many exquisite and interesting timepieces. Some of these I have seen in the British Museum. Brilliant, will definitely be coming again!
