Had a nice experience at this pub, it’s massive inside, cosy clean and very friendly staff. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my food. I had the Chicken with bacon and hand cut chips, when the chicken came it tasted like it was microwaved, it tasted like pork, super tough and hard to chew. Had a lovely meal here and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had the cheese fondue to start and it was one of the best things I have ever tasted! If they made a mac and cheese with that cheese sauce I would travel the 5 hours back to try it. Our mains were also both very tasty, we were rather full from the cheese but the staff were more than happy to box up our leftovers. Thanks!

Really lovely atmosphere, wonderful old Interesting pub. Food was amazingly good and quick to arrive, Had the vegan option and was very tasty. A friendly, good service from the staff. will return.
