Afternoon tea for my mother's birthday albeit a week late. Absolutely gorgeous cakes and presentation. Highly recommended.

Wow!!! I really enjoyed my evening at this restaurant. The food was show-stopping - both the presentation and the flavours were immaculate. I especially loved the buffalo chicken bites (listed as a snack on the menu, but still a really generous portion!) and the BBQ hispi cabbage, but also enjoyed the gazpacho starter and delicious apple & cucumber mocktail, which used homegrown produce ?The real star of the evening was the service - the staff here are very special. Nothing was too much trouble, they always seemed to be on hand the moment you needed something, and were all incredibly knowledgable about the menu. Five stars just for that! ?The St Enodoc Hotel is a calming, beautiful space, with a classy yet chilled-out atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back ?

Another wonderful stay at St Enodoc. Warm, relaxed, intimate atmosphere, ever-friendly staff, wonderful food (my wife can't get enough of the hispi cabbage) and big, beautiful views from our estuary-view window. Special mention goes to Nadia at the Spa; my 90 min massage may have been the Best Massage I've Ever Had. Can't wait to return. Thanks from Wendy, Bowie the Dog and I.

Great location but very little ambience. Breakfast was good but the restaurant was dull with limited choice. Cost was high and did not quite deliver the luxury the price deserved. Staff were helpful and friendly but the Hotel, just like Rock, had no core attraction!

Great staff, friendly and efficient. Lovely food, tasty, imaginative and beautifully presented. This evening a nice whole plaice and delicious pork. Our meals not too large for our appetites. We weren’t staying this time but know that the hotel has comfortable lounges and dining room, with delightful views. Rooms vary in size but are fresh and well equipped. We have been many times and look forward to the next visit.

A fabulous evening of excellence food experience. Martyn , the chef created a super 6 course tasting menu which accommodated one Gluten Free, one no cheese and one no seafood diners. We all had an excellent evening helped by Matt and Meghan who presented the food and wine with aplomb and enthusiasm. We would love to return.

Our third visit and St Enadoc remains a favourite, especially now we have a dog. The hotel enjoys a lovely position overlooking the Camel estuary and is set in a lot of land with ample garden space for relaxation/sitting around. There’s also a heated, well maintained outdoor pool. It’s modern, comfortable and stylishly designed rather than Cool, or luxurious: a proper seaside hotel. Rooms vary in size and aspect so choose carefully: one sea view room at least takes dogs. Food at dinner very good with some imaginative veggie options and half board makes it very good value. Friendly informal service but still professional and efficient.

Great hotel. We were a 3 generation family plus the dog. We felt relaxed and comfortable from the minute we arrived. Staff friendly, food good and accommodation stylish and welcoming. What more could you want! Would highly recommend.

My wife and I recently stayed at the St Enodoc hotel for four nights. What a treat it was as well! The welcome at reception was very friendly even though we arrived early and were drenched through (and were happy to take our wet walking boots and put them in the laundry room to dry overnight!) We were shown to our nice, spacious, room with estuary view on the second floor. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good-sized desk and chairs to relax on, with a super view over Rock and the Camel estuary. The bathroom was very good with a bath / shower and very nice Land and Water shower and bath amenities. There were plenty of towels refreshed daily as needed. Being able to have a bath after a day of cliff-walking is definitely a big plus. There was also plenty of wardrobe space and hangers - as well as lots of cupboard space. Fresh bottled water was also provided daily as well. The team were also more than happy to provide fresh milk for tea / coffee in your room, given the kettle and mugs that were provided. One final point, given the wet weather we endured, is that the rooms were very warm (no shirking on heating to save costs). There were also really good, sensible, windows to deal with the weather - which included 50mph winds while we were there. For those on B&B packages the cooked breakfasts were wonderful - with beautifully fresh eggs (cooked how you wanted) to go alongside a classic Cornish breakfast (the sausages and bacon were also first class) and a choice of cereals and pastries as well as juices and hot drinks. Even when we needed to be out of the hotel by 8am one day - breakfast starts at 7.30 - the team had us fed and ready in good time - without us feeling as though we had rushed - first class service! One of the best 'a la carte' breakfasts we have had. We were also on the package that included dinner in brasserie. The chef has previously worked in Michelin starred restaurants and the quality showed. As might be expected in a costal location the fish was outstanding - my wife had both the Plaice and Hake dishes on various nights, while I stuck with the meat and enjoyed an excellent pork loin dish as well as a great sophisticated burger and super hot chips. Desserts were also excellent. If this was the quality of the Brasserie - the fine dining mush be outstanding! The other thing that struck us was how much care and attention have been paid to the wonderful gardens. The Hotel employs two full time gardeners and they have done great things - if you like what you see, you can buy cuttings - but then all the proceeds go to local charity. In summary, this was a wonderful place to be based for our trip to North Cornwall, and we would unhesitatingly recommend it - both the hotel and the brasserie.

We booked Sunday lunch for a Mother's Day treat and what a fabulous meal we had. Went for a different dish of Charred Hispi cabbage which was delicious, never knew you could make a dish of cabbage so tasty, it was delicious. Everything about our experience was perfect. The staff, namely Trill looked after us extremely well, very attentive, friendly and helpful. Beautiful location with stunning views, we shall look forward to returning again soon
