Came today for the first time despite visiting wadebridge often being fairly local. What a great find, will be our new go to, very accommodating for a group of 3 adults and 4 children. Lovely food and great service from the young lad who served us. Thank youKid-friendliness: Great and accommodating finding room for us plus a pushchair

We are regular visitors to Wadebridge but never tried this place until today ... what a little gem! Fresh, clean and airy premises, with lovely friendly, helpful staff. We both had the Cornish Breakfast, with hogs pudding. One came out with a complimentary extra egg, due to yolk breaking on the first. Quick and delicious, served with a smile, very tasty and reasonably priced. This will definitely be our new go-to eatery when we are in the area. 10/10!

Sat outside in the sunshine and had wonderful crab sandwiches and plentiful tea for two. Bread was just baked and excellent.

You will probably like this place if you're a local, however, as a foreigner, I suggest to stay away.Staff is rude and will speak about you behind your back (but within earshot). I had been to this restaurant as a teenager 16y ago and was happy to return because I remember the food being good. Let's just say it belongs in the rubbish pile now.Watery, undercooked, whitish underripe tomatoes, overdone mushrooms, and a milkshake that is an insult to milkshakes. THEY USED POWDER LOLOLOL. No blender either, they just stir it. Now THAT'S a joke. The only good thing was the hash browns, but it's super hard to mess up a fried potato...This place should have closed its doors when the old owner sold it a few years ago. Won't ever return.Edit: ambiance? My padded wooden chair felt like it was about to break anytime I moved in it and there were 5+ dirty old food stains from God knows who and however long ago.

Stopped in her for some breakfast. Well it was truly disgusting, there was so much better on the toast, even after scrapping it off the butter was still pouring out when pressed, leaving the toast to be soggy. The veggie breakfast was all deep fried and the oil was all you could taste.Greasy spoon this really is.I wouldn’t go back, nor would I recommend to anyone. A real disappointment.

We were wandering through Wadebridge and spotted The Granary. Went in for lunch. Wow it was amazing. We had ploughman's. The place is great, the food was amazing and it's spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely and the young lad serving was a great asset. I throughly recommend this place.

Popped into the granary with family for coffee, breakfasts etc. Fantastic service and excellent food, very tasty. New owners are doing an excellent job.

We have been customers for a few years and I was worried when it was sold earlier in the year. There was no need to worry, everything was wonderful, just as it always was. A lovely place for food.

Pre booked a table via telephone 1 hour before. We arrived, had to find where our table was located as nonone greeted us although we were known to arrive. We sat down...only 3 of us one of which a small child who was ready for food. No menus on the table so waited patiently for a member of staff to provide these to us to pick what was would like...20 mins later I had to approach the staff who had already acknowledged we had arrive we just simply got ignored! I got my own menus we all picked what we wanted to order a d still no one came to take our order whilst again sitting patiently...after a further 15 mins we left after waiting to even be acknowledged by staff! It truly was very disappointing since the new owners have taken it on. Previous owners were beyond welcoming and consistent! I will never return and I've used this cafe being local to wadebridge for many many years! It's a shame!

We were staying in Padstow and fancied getting out of the hustle and bustle as was so busy. We came across The Granary and gave it a go. I’m glad we did - firstly we were welcomed by a young lad who was very friendly and sat us dine and came back with menus. A young girl took our order and she was lonely and friendly also. I ordered a baguette with a bowl of chips and my husband the all day breakfast. Food was fresh and tasty and I is not need the chips a the baguette came with a nice salad and slaw. Husband said his breakfast was lovely and non greasy and an ideal size. We then went back this morning before leaving to come home. I had the veggie breakfast and my husband the same as Saturday. Service was great once again and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. I will add that there was one young man with glasses who stood out for his manner and confidence with customers. Would highly recommend for sure.

Ordered bacon and brie sandwich. The bacon was nearly all fat and very little Brie disgusting. The only thing that was any good was the tea. The staff didn’t know who ordered what. We were not given any cutlery. When we complained about the food the staff couldn’t be bothered. Amateurs.

Have been here 2 times on this trip and once last year for breakfast. Each time was consistently good and would recommend. Excellent menu choice from yoghurt through to full cooked so perfect for a fussy family and reasonably priced. The team were very accommodating and friendly. On both visits this time we were looked after by a young lad ( perhaps school age ) who was exceptional. Absolutely worth a visit and we will be back.
