Amazing stay this week, Jodie is a great host and runs an amazing pub. Room was very clean, friendly locals and quite reasonable prices at the bar.Parking: On street parking outside and off street behind the pub,
I stayed here at the weekend and had a very comfortable night's sleep above this traditional English pub. Clean and newly decorated room with large bed and TV, good value for money.

The Angel is THE BEST pub in Alston. Great atmosphere, lovely friendly locals, staff and landlord are lovely and it's so reasonably priced. I love it here and I think if you're visiting the town you absolutely need to pay a visit to this pub! They have rooms above but it gets busy on the weekend so if you're alright for a few drinks and getting to know the locals it's absolutely worth it!
