Great quality food, all super-fresh and very tasty. Freshly cooked nachos (not from a bag!) were a treat. A warm welcome from the owners to visitors and locals alike. Would recommend to anybody wanting a hearty afternoon plate-full after a good walk!

Absolutely brilliant food, went today for lunch. The burrito was lovely, and you can tell that everything is homemade. Service excellent from the gentleman on the till. Couldn’t fault it at all (unless you could the envy we had of our fellow diner’s nachos) and definitely recommend.

Absolutely, top-tier Mexican food! From the moment we walked in the door we were given a warm welcome by Chris working front of house. He started us off with some fantastic margaritas served in proper Mexican glasses while his wife, Marisol prepared some pork burritos, all made fresh to order and customised to your tastes.The food was incredible, freshly made with local ingredients where possible, including home grown chilis. I'm not much of a spice guy so went for a milder level, but my (Hispanic) wife went off the charts with the special professional level spice and loved every minute of it.I also want to take a minute to talk about the amazing welcome we had. It was a pleasure to meet Chris, Marisol, and the other lady in the kitchen (sorry, I can't remember your name), and share stories of living in America. They are clearly small business owners who have passion for what they do, pouring love into their food, and treating their customers as friends.My only problem is that we're only in Ambleside a couple of times a year and I'm simply not going to get Mexican food this good anywhere else in the UK. I can't wait to go back for more!Vegetarian options: All food are made to order and each dish comes with vegitarian options.

Authentic, fresh mexican food. Lovely knowledgeable staff that are really friendly. Better beers than the tap room round the corner and the margaritas are to die for! Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely go back to try more of their lovely food. Predominantly a takeaway but there is seating for those rainy days!

They make the best burritos I have ever had, and put the big chains like taco bell or mission burrito to shame! Generous meat portions, fresh salad and lovely tortillas. I was expecting the beef to be chewy but it was not at all. Will definitely visit again ?

My husband and I received a very warm welcome from Chris and Marisol, the food was delicious and the excellent beer selections complemented the cuisine perfectly. Even the pooch was happy with her treats. Fabulous place!

A wee hidden gem! Had to wait to get a seat and it was worth it. 4 or 5 things on the menu. Chose the chicken tacos and skirt steak burrito,both were delicious as was the draught Siren beer and tasty Margaritas. 10/10 for food and drink and English guy and Mexican lady couple who own the place were lovely and chatty. We loved it!
Me and my partner were just looking for a little snack and stumbled upon this little gem. Three choices on the menu, we had tacos and nachos which were fresh and delicious. We sat on a bench eating in the glorious November sun. Lovely staff too

Without doubt, the best food I have eaten in Ambleside...possibly anywhere! The amount of flavours packed into my veggie burrito was off the scale, and the craft ale to wash it down with was a nice touch. If you're in the area, treat yourself to a taste of sunshine, I'll be back every time I'm in town.
