Food is good but never get charged the same amount for the same meal whenever we visit. Till charges differently to what's advertised above the counter apparently... Owner was outright rude, usually staff are lovely.

Best breakfast baguettes in Appleby. Other sandwiches are very good and good choice of fillings. Also fish & chips pies etc. Very reasonable price. Staff very friendly. Very clean quick service with parking outside.

We live just a couple of minutes away from this chippie. Absolutely love them! Chips are as chips should be, very tasty and hot, lovely pies etc. The staff are friendly, reasonable prices. If you want fish and chips you GET fish and chips! Clean and tidy place too.

Large flakes of fish covered with a crispy batter and well cooked chips, all that you can ask for in a fish & chip shop. Special mention too for the very young serving staff who did an excellent job.

Switched the friers off while customers were queuing, then told customers who’d been waiting 15 minutes that they couldn’t have what they wanted as they’d not ordered in time! Shocking way to run a business.

Very expensive (£9.50) for only a small serving of fish & chips in a takeaway polystyrene hamburger container - CASH ONLY - went across the road to Co-op ATM but it was out of order and the tills wouldn't give cash out, ridiculous on a busy weekend!

Right so we ordered 3 fish and chips today with curry sauce and ended up getting beans and peas instead and got charged extra. My nephew is allergic to peas and was nearly eating them but luckily we realised before he started eating. Went back in to try and sort it out and all I got told was that all he can do is give us the curry sauce and that i should of come back in but if I would of got home and then got back to the shop to get the curry sauce by the time i got back home the food would of been cold
