Lovely village pub. Can't comment on the food too much but the drinks are decent and the chips are delicious. Perfect little stop-off when on a walk. The staff are lovely as well ??

Great little spot, friendly staff. Plenty of outdoor seating for summer evening drinks. Nice rotation of guest ales. Food is on point. Sandford burger I had was lush. Would definitely come again.

We stayed here to attend a wedding and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The breakfast service was superb with tasty bacon plus LOTS of classic breakfast fare, so much so I didn't even notice the missing hash browns until the next day when the honest host confirmed he had just forgotten to serve them. A good place to stay.Rooms: Ours was a little tired. For example a loose wardrobe knob, a wobbly toilet seat and unprofessional decorating.

Walked in on the spur of the moment ans despite being busy they found us a table. Menu was food and I had the salmon with lemon and parsley sauce with new potatoes and vegetables it was lovely. My partner had the steak and again couldn't fault it

Only had a meal here, nice menu, the food was very good and large portions, It was a Monday night and just the one waitress who worked her socks off, very well done to her it was busy for a Monday night 25 covers.

It was a Monday evening and it was very busy, which I don't think they were bargaining for. Just one young lady serving who was excellent and really made you feel welcome. Food was very nice with large portions, plenty of parking. Highly recommended.
Late lunch driving back from the lakes. Came across the Sandford purely by chance. A warm and friendly greeting and a lovely feel to the place. Two of us had the giant yorkshire pudding which was really really good. The Sandford chicken and king prawn curry were also well cooked and delicious.

We went here for a drink lovely place staff friendly. We are Already planning to go back and stop in the hotel with our dog. The food menu looked good. We also love the fact that the hotel is pet friendly. We will definitely return here very soon.
