The Appleby Hub

We visited Appleby for the day and as we arrived at the station someone suggested that if we wanted a lovely place to go for a coffee we should go to "The Hub"
Well they were totally right .... absolutely fabulous food, service and atmosphere.....the homemade savoury scones were amazing.
You have to go......

Went here for one of the courses they had running, an introduction course to doing traditional stained glass window making. The tutor and the course organiser where both really friendly and helpful. Can't away very happy with my first attempt at doing leaded glass window designs

Try the salads then buy the book of the recipes from the shop. Absolute gem of a place.

I had a ploughman's scone and my partner had a full breakfast, they were delicious.

Friendly helpful just all round relaxed dining.

This place is a must visit, if you’re in Appleby.

A lovely converted chapel now an arts centre. Cafe, gifts, events, meeting place.

Superb food, lovely staff and great atmosphere and of course it's dog friendly.

Fantastic venue for a coffee and cake break or even more substantial fare. But a pre loved book from the large selection for a couple of pounds which helps those not as able as we were . I loved it .

I've meant to go here for years and finally took the plunge, and I'm so glad I did. Eating in with friends and family, the food was awesome, the service was friendly and efficient without being over the top, and an atmosphere that is relaxed and unhurried. Definitely going there again....many times ??

This is such an asset to our town and community, as well as a draw for tourists. It is always busy, and no doubt would still be even if it was open 7 days a week!The food is wholesome, so tasty and delivered with the warmest of service.

This was a group lunch. We had 3 courses of excellent quality food. James the chef was great as always.
