I visited this brilliant Appleby real ale pub on Saturday 18th December 2021This real ale pub not only serves real Le but is without doubt one of the best locals country side pubs you could ever come to drink real ales inGrat propper pub to visit
Cracking little pub that has warm & welcoming staff & locals. called in for a couple of beers with my wife Saturday & Sunday evening. coal fire kept us toasty and there was a good selection of drinks at a decent price. Will return again next time we are in Appleby for my pint of Guinness ?

I was only in town for the night having ridden all day pretty much on my motorbike, what I thought was going to be a couple of quiet beers in a sleepy northern village an hour before normal closing time turned into a pub bursting at the seems with great music, atmosphere and some friendly locals. Beers was great. Great price compared to what am used to down south, would definitely call in again if I was back in the area ?
