Simple but nice for tea and cake on a Sunday

Toasties, cake, coffee, etc. Great location next to the abbey and good walks. Friendly staff, nice price, cosy wood burner, dog friendly, free parking.

Food was disgusting & cold. Person who cooked the food was previously cleaning the toilets with her apron on. God only know where she was trained in health & safety. Bacon rock hard & served in a bread sandwich when I ordered a bacon bap (baps are rolls not two slices of bread!). Toastie was sloppy mush. Two people serving were nice friendly peopleParking: There are parking spaces

Just popped in for a takeaway drink but great selection of drinks & food in a really interesting building. The staff were really friendly & recommended some local places to visit. Thanks ??

Great little find near the Abbey. Great team, very efficient. Coffee good, didn't eat but cakes looked tempting.

Lovely cafe in a fantastic location, great prices and friendly staff. plenty room for kids to run around and nice walk if you fancy it.

Considering the coffee shop is adjacent to a ruin, I was expecting your average, tourist offering. I was happily surprised. We ordered baguettes, which seemed more like paninis. They were flavorful. I had bacon, brie & cranberry. The flat white hit the spot. And we shared a Victoria sponge cake that was our least favorite. Nevertheless, when you're with good friends, it makes for an even better lunch. Open Wednesdays - Sundays, 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

We had the best time here, the afternoon tea is not a light snack and well worth the money. The bacon my son commented was 'the best he'd had in ages'The lady serving showed my daughter to the toilets around the back of the cafe while we had our hands full.We couldn't have asked for better service and to top it all of they do a decent coffee!

Cute wee coffee shop next to the ruins of the Abbey. My husband and I went there in April. We were delighted that it was dog friendly! ? we had coffees, a tuns melt sandwich and a salted caramel cake. The coffee and sandwich were nice but the salted caramel cake was really delicious. The cafe is in a nice spot beside the Abbey and there is plenty of green space around for walking your dog. We would definitely visit again :)

Went out of season. Place was freezing despite the open fire. Dog friendly

Took my mum for afternoon tea. Really lovely. Good selection of cakes and sandwiches. Would have liked to have seen a little more variety in sandwiches as the cheese ones were a little dry but to be fair it was really nice. Thank you ?
