Particularly enjoyed our visit to this marvellous restaurant. The food was very tasty and presented nicely. The menu included many interesting dishes, making it difficult to make a final choice. Service was excellent.

Went to this restaurant for new years eve . Arrived and all looked very nice and authentic. Ordered the starter and main meal together. The starter arrived quite quickly and was delicious. After the starter we waited over an hour for the main to arrive. A succession of takeaways were collected and people arriving much later than us got their mealand after asking several times about our meal. We finally gave up and left. Another couple had issues also. I feel they made priority of the takeaways instead of the people in the restaurant. Very poor experience overall.

Superb food, great atmosphere and great service, also a great price! Highly recommend the sharing platter starter and the chicken massaman curry.

The food was amazing.I tried the mango sticky rice and it tasted authentic.I didn’t like the noodles much but it must be because it’s not my kind of dish and I have different tastes so others may prefer it.The beef with oyster sauce and jasmine rice was lovely and the beef was perfectly done,I loved the sauce and if I could I would definitely come again.

This is the best Thai food I've had in a restaurant. Everything just seemed a little fresher than what I've had in the past and the food had better depth of flavour. Really delicious cocktails too! Really impressed. Thank you xKid-friendliness: No problem having the children with us. We were a large party, so we had our own room. High chairs provided and staff were really friendly and inclusive.

We ordered takeaway so cannot comment on the service or atmosphere in the restaurant. We ordered green curry, Penang curry, rice and Satay. Disappointed is putting it politely, disgusting chicken satay that was never near a grill, hard and overcooked chick in both curries and small portions of everything. £40 would have been better spent elsewhere, we cannot recommend and won't be returning.

A very busy restaurant, never the less, we were shown to our table very quickly and a drinks order taken. There were 4 of us, we shared 2 starters, crab fish cakes and sesame prawn toast, again the service was very quick, both were delicious. We ordered 4 main dishes, Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Pineapple fried rice, Chicken Thai Curry, Ginger Stir Fry, all were excellent, very fresh and portions were plentiful. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

It was quiet when we arrived, server was happy and welcoming. Order was taken quickly, starter was nice and started off good. However, we ordered a sharing platter and then 2 mains one with chicken and prawn charged £3 extra for a bit of chicken - no extra and then £4.50 for rice. Food was nice but small portions and expensive for what we got. Left really disappointed and hungry £67.70 for 2 beers, starter and basically 2 mains and a side which could have fed one person.

The food was very tasty. Platter starters delicious, and main courses all well balanced. The portions were a little stingy though, and after a platter starter and curry main course, we were all left wanting more. We would have stayed for desert, but the service was awful. We waited 50 minutes for 3 pints of beer, and chased twice. We had finished the starters before they arrived! It wasn't even that busy, and with 4 members of waiting staff on the top floor they should have done better.

Visited Jintana on Tuesday this week. The restaurant was a lovely peaceful place to eat, food was delicious and beautifully presented. Pleasant, friendly staff. We will definitely return when in Bowness.

I visited here with my husband. We are both vegetarian. We had vegetable tempura and spring rolls to start. The tempura was very small and disappointing. I then had a vegetable and cashew nut stir fry which again, was very small and disappointing. I would say the food was just okay. I don’t know if it’s because we are vegetarians but the vege options didn’t provide satisfaction so unfortunately I wouldn’t return. Our waitress however, was lovely and she did a great job at looking after us.

I visit the lakes every year with a group of mates and every year we visit the Jintana because we love it. The food and the service have always been excellent and this year was no exception. I really can't understand some of the reviews reporting bad food and poor service, we've never had anything other that excellent service and delicious food. This year, we went for a set menu with an extra dish of Thai red curry. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommended

Delicious Thai food with lovely staff. Ignore the reviews that say the food is bad, this thai food was some of the best we have eaten. Everything was tasty and portion size was just right.
