Small portion sizes for cost. Food good. What is it with Lake Windermere, 10% service charge for taking an order and delivering it to the table. That is not service!

This place isnt geared for the customer its geared purely for high resteraunt profit which is fine but its not sustainable ..starter platter at 24 quid is nothing more than 7 quids worth of deep fried food surrounded buy their signature fancy cut veg which nobody eats or wants! Onto the main courses which contains a huge sauce and fancy cut veg but very little meat at a cost of 13 -17 quid ... in my opinion theres other thai places near by who want to split the wealth unlike this place who are milking the tourist knowing they probably wont be back so f..em!

The staff were helpful and the place was clean and beautiful. I might have ordered the wrong thing. The Tom-Kha soup was very small (it’s about £7) and it was very sweet with just a few prawns and undercook mushrooms. I was starving so I have to ask for a slice of lime to balance the flavour. Personally, as I’m Thai, I’m a little disappointed. My friend’s Kee-Mao noodles were decent though.

Walked in on New Years Day without a booking. The Restaurant was very busy but the staff were amazing and found a space for us. Wow the place was so busy and you could tell why - the food was fantastic. Really good food that took us back to when we visited Thailand - so authentic. Would highly recommend (though I would book next time). I also though it was very reasonably priced.

Had a fantastic meal 30/12/23 I don't eat much Thai due to lemongrass but I asked for a spicy dish without lemongrass and it was amazing and so hot ?️? staff was great and place was busy.. Thanks for a great meal

The ambience and decoration was great. Great service. The food was sweetish, as expected with Thai cuisine. However I felt like I should eat something spicy after a meal.PS this could be personal experience being an Indian

Absolutely yummy & authentic Thai food!! We had the penang curry & spicy drunken noodles ( not for the weak hearted!) Good choice of vegetarian options as well. Quick service and DOG FRIENDLY! Slightly appalled by the 10% service charge which wasn't mentioned on the

My mother and I could not be bothered cooking, and I’m so glad we didn’t. I have walked past this restaurant more times than I’ve had hot dinners and I’m disappointed at myself it’s taken me 25 years to visit. The menu is very expensive, but the portion sizes are huge and the food is delicious, so worth it!!

Couldn't fault our visit here tonight. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. The service was attentive but never overbearing. We will most definitely return. Restaurant and facilities spotlessly clean.

Nice thai restaurant, good food and fast service. Dog friendly outside, the restaurant has outdoor heater, it was warm enough.

In search of thai food in windermere we planned to try it out in House of Siam. We were flabbergasted with the ambience and feel, it has such tropical vibe, made us think the food would be amazing. On the contrary the food was not that good and wasn’t authentic thai tbh. We ordered green and masaman curry along with jasmine rice. I was utterly disappointed with the veg masaman and their chicken wings have a weird smell which took away the pleasure of eating food. There are only two items which we liked the most their mushroom hot n sour soup and fried noodles, these two were amazing. If you around windermere and planning to have some thai you can totally ignore this one as it is quiet expensive too but if you just want to have some singha beer and enjoy the vibe this could be place for you.

haha eten is goed. Vond alleen jammer dat ze al zelf 10 % fooi rekende. Dit was voor ons 11.00 pond. Vond ik zelf heel veel.
