Best pies I've ever had. My father in law Alastair will always bring them down south for me when they come to visit us near Brighton. Just enjoyed a massive meat and potato and half a steak pie with some mash and gravy! ?❤️?

Set in a gem of a village with other honest traditional shops doing well in keeping its timeless character well worth the stop when passing nearby.

Proper little bakery. Great baked goods for sale. Welsh Dragon sausage rolls are a must try

Broughton is a tiny village of 500-plus souls. So it's no surprise there'd only be one bakery. Fortunately, it opens at 8:30 (except Sundays). Before I move on, this advisory: Ignore the online menu. It "belonged" to the bakery that was formerly here. There are no full breakfasts, but there are loads of baked treats and hot drinks. However, if you fancy quiche for breakfast (and I do), there's 2-3 quiches. I recommend the Quiche Lorraine. Most locals will order takeout, but there's a seating area (it costs extra if you're eating in). Nevertheless, the staff is friendly, and with good company, you can savor your hot drink & pastries.
Very nice pies, breadcakes and eclairs

Lovely place......we will come again.
The food was great but the coffee was ok.
Came here multiple times for takeaway treats on our visit to the Lake District as we were staying nearby, lovely pastries, pies and cakes.
Lovely local bakery. We stopped for coffee and a snack. All of which were absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend a visit here.
