Broughton is a tiny village of 500-plus souls. So it's no surprise there'd only be one bakery. Fortunately, it opens at 8:30 (except Sundays). Before I move on, this advisory: Ignore the online menu. It "belonged" to the bakery that was formerly here. There are no full breakfasts, but there are loads of baked treats and hot drinks. We stopped here for a quick bite on a cycle ride in the lakes. Another gem of a find. The sandwiches were made fresh to order. Follow that with good coffee and cake, what more could you want? A really lovely place. Defo worth a visit. Thank you.

Fab bakery. Get there early for the freshest bread ?. A great range of cakes and savory pies etc. Super portions at fab prices.There is a cafe serving good coffee and sandwiches plus all the bakery items...only open til 2pm so don't be late?
