Perfect location to the centre of Carlisle. The guest house is so clean, cosy, quiet and has everything you need. Our room was so lovely and relaxing. Breakfast was brilliant and staff so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to others to stay here :)

Just arrived home after a couple of days at Abbey Court and can't fault this excellent B&B. Room 10 was spacious and comfortable with a large screen tv and lovely en suite bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming along with their staff. Breakfast was great as well. My wife and myself enjoyed our time here and would certainly return Paul & Jackie Glasgow

We stayed here as part of our Hadrians wall walk. It was a bit off the Day 2 trail start but the location otherwise was great. Super friendly hosts with lots of local knowledge to share. Clean accomodations with an amazing breakfast.

Outstanding value at this place- lovely clean room- not huge but fine for me- delicious breakfast too. Just can’t fault it. I was in room 9. Shower looked new and worked perfectly . Friendly welcome on arrival. Paid £61 for a single room on a Tuesday night. Would happily return.

This was a wonderful place, the lady was very helpful and upgraded our room. The ground floor suite is so lovely, it has everything you need, and if weather permits there's outdoor seating.The foods was lovely, so much choice. I would definitely recommend this B & B. walking distance to the shops, restaurants and bars ect.

We spent two nights in Abbey Court Guest House in Carlisle this week and had a gret experience. The room was very comfortable. Kelly was very personable, easy to work with and quite helpful. The breakfasts were made to order, with generous servings, presented well and very tasty.

I have enjoyed my short stay for a night, with a lovely freshly cooked breakfast served in the morning. Friendly couple running the business. As others have said the outside of Abbey Court, on a very busy road, doesn't make a good first impression but come inside and the owner has tastefully decorated it and is so friendly and helpful. She provides an excellent breakfast and our room, whilst small, was spotlessly clean and very good value. Recommended for a short stay in Carlisle and very convenient for the railway station.
Perfectly clean and compact room. Shower was great, TV worked fine with muktitudes of channels. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent as were the staff and lovely host(ess). Very friendly place to stay. Some people will say the 10 minute walk from the station is a bit too far and the traffic can be a bit of a nuisance at 6am but you can't have everything for the price this place is charging. Be aware; no room service unless asked for. One lady complained about the used glass (she used it) which wasn't replaced whilst she was out. There is a sink in the room which is very easy to use to clean a cup or glass etc! Some people!

Fantastic guest house situated in the centre of Carlisle. Beautifully presented, immaculate and pristine. Very well run; organised and attentive hosts with a family feel. Each room is unique, with real attention to detail; everything you could need is in the room (small fridge, hairdryer, USB charging plug sockets). Gorgeous breakfast with a wide range of options and good quality ingredients. The best poached eggs I’ve ever eaten! Winner of Channel 4’s ‘Four in a Bed’ too! Would wholeheartedly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you!

Better than average B&B. Rooms were relatively clean and plenty large enough. Bathroom in our room was a bit cramped. Bed had a couple of deep depressions but was otherwise comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Quiet, and well located for walking about Carlisle. Breakfasts were good, and all the hosts and hostesses were very nice and helpful.

We stayed here for one night before starting a coast to coast cycle. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was compact, as advertised, but very comfortable. We had a great night's sleep before our long cycle and had access to everything we needed
