A delightful, traditional little café on the edge of Carlisle Cemetery (which is well worth exploring). We had a delicious full English brunch and some wonderful Victoria sponge.

Gorgeous. Quaint? Spotless. Beautiful building. Lovely, peaceful atmosphere. Great food at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly, happy to chat, just nice people. If we’re in the area again we’ll be back.

Love this little cafe, friendly service and top notch food. I had a lemon and blueberry scone, it was amazing. I would like to see the cafe open on a Sunday, as the cemetery is a beautiful place to walk and reflect, Having a nice cuppa afterwards would be perfect.
Lovely full English breakfast. Been meaning to try it for a while after a friend recommended, did not dissapoint.Will be back those scones looked amazing

Lovely cosy cafe friendly helpful staff,food was fresh homemade and tasty good size portions. The afternoon tea someone else was having looked amazing the cakes looked so good, unfortunately was to full up to try one
What a wonderful find this is. Our first visit and it is on our doorstep. We will be back soon. Service was superb, all smiling faces and very polite and attentive to customers. The interior is very quaint and relaxed. We had full English breakfast which was excellent. Quality and quantity were very impressive. (See the photo, it tasted as good as it looks.) Scones and cakes looked equally as good. (Trying those on our next visit.) Nothing we could fault.

Wow what a place. Altough only small inside and we were all chilly from the rain, the atmosphere was wonderful. The food - The best English breakfast we have ever had.My kids loved it, the dog enjoyed the biscuits.We would reccomend it to anyone
