It really is a fantastic little place for performers and audiences. I don't know of anywhere else you can catch a spoken word night, an electronic music set at an open mic and then a sludge metal band, all within a few days of each other. The platform it gives to musicians that are just starting out or that would otherwise struggle to get in front of audience is brilliant too. The staff are all wonderful too! A quirky little music/arts venue tucked away in an old mill building in a suburb of Carlisle. Features a wide variety of music genres and always entertaining. Have a drink or coffee at the bar. Friendly staff and a relaxed sociable atmosphere. Appeals to a wide age range. Dancing. Open mic nights. Established and new bands/singers. Great place...well worth a visit

The Source Collective in Carlisle is a rare gem. One of the increasingly dwindling grassroots venues which underpins the entire music industry in the UK. Run and attended by lovely folk, with a really cool, thoughtful space, who treat their bands well. We need more like this.
