Been here twice now and will be back. First time was December for their set Christmas menu, it was lovely. Been back today with 6 others everyone commented how nice our food was and that there was a good variety to choose from. I'd totally recommend trying here if you want tasty food. 3 courses and a drink cost me less than £30. I'd pay that every day for the quality.
La Mezzaluna never fails to impress. The food, service, the ambiance & the toilets ! The fact we ate here 3 times in one week recently speaks volumes. The produce is of an extremely high standard & the fillet steak could be cut with a teaspoon it is so tender. The lasagne is the best I’ve ever had. We have never had any dish & been disappointed. The staff are truly fabulous & so welcoming. Thank you Jane, Rachael, Rachael’s daughter, Cozmina, Elena for your continued high standards & the very talented chefs for producing such wonderful food. See you soon ☺️

We had our table booked for over a week with friends we hadn’t seen for along time. On arrival we gave our name and were told our table was upstairs. When arriving to our table we were in a room with a children’s party of around 20 kids. We could not hear ourselves speak. We asked the waitress to be moved but she said there was no room. It was an absolute nighmare . The food was ok but our steaks were not cooked to our liking. But we were that fed up of being in there we just payed and went. I think we should have been told on arrival that we would be with a kids party then we could have had the option to go somewhere else.

Booked to go on a thirsday evening, first time going. Was not disappointed, food was great I had the lasagna and a garlic pizza to start. Garlic pizza was amazing. Would highly recommend, will definitely be back.

Had a great meal certainly one of the best Italians in Carlisle. Starters were all good. No spare ribs though.Mains were great best lasagne I have had in years. My wife's pasta wasnt a massive portion but was extremely nice and filling.Prices were pretty reasonable as well as an added bonus
