Another sad day in Carlisle. After 18 years of trading Le Gall has shut up shop for the last time. The city is becoming a ghost town with the amount of shops/ restaurants and bars closing down.
We came as they have a great gluten free menu and Iām glad we did. Food was amazing and itās not fast food āitās great food as fast as they canā I had the bacon burger which was brilliant, fries were crisp and fluffy on the inside. Iāve lived in Carlisle my whole life and canāt believe Iāve only just visited now.

Le Gall is now a quaint cocktail bar. Found this place after walking around looking for a bar that wasn't blasting out overly loud music, and we were very pleasantly surprised. Great cocktails, wines, beers and the atmosphere was fantastic.
