Top place!

Great value and above average curry. Naga chili chicken vg. Beer but no zero alcohol beer. Long way out of town. Worth a detour.

Visiting the area so tried here. Now I eat Asian and Indian food almost every day and at these prices I expected top quality food. Sadly not. I only had a lamb madras, two chappatis and a bottle of water. £23. I don't eat rice or naan. The chappatis were over cooked and quite tasteless. The madras tasted like a warehouse bought sauce with a few small lumps of low quality meat. The water was fine at least. I won't be using again.

Ordered a takeaway for 7pm arrived at nearly 8pm. Paid £33 for a disgusting meal for two, burnt paratha, dried up onion bargee, beef balti and lamb Bhuna were disgusting - tough meat. The whole meal went in the bin!

On arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to a table in the conservatory. The decor was clean and pleasant. The concealed blue lighting above gives a softness to the atmosphere. We were served by Dud who was very chatty and helpful when I asked for a paneer starter that wasn’t listed. I had a saag paneer starter and my husband had the samosas, both were very flavourful. We shared a 2 ?️ ?️ chicken (Shashlik korai, I think) this had definite heat without being too hot. The naan bread was freshly cooked in their tandoor, it was light and a little crispy. This is the second visit in the last couple of months and again I was not disappointed. Maybe one slight negative, the one glass house Chardonnay was too sweet for me.
