Great quality chocolates at respectable prices. It may cost that little bit more to support a local establishment but it's worth the money, plenty of variety for not just treating yourself but providing birthday/Christmas gifts for others. Customer service was good as well, looking forward to attending once again.

Could not resist a look inside this large sweet emporium on my brief visit to Ambleside. It's in a lovely old building on the main shopping street, not far from the market cross. Loved the vintage decor. Was spoilt for choice with the fantastic array of luxury chocolates on display. Every kind of centre you can think of and they sell vegan chocolates too. There's also fudge, nougat, Kendal mint cake, a wide selection of sweets, shortbread and preserves. Everything was beautifully displayed and clearly labelled. The girl behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful. Bought one of their boxes of delicious signature chocolates. This shop is not cheap but if you're looking for a nice gift or an indulgent treat you will certainly find it here.
