Went in for the 2 course Sunday lunch. Both starters were great, with the mushroom & sage soup being such a pleasant surprise that myself who hates mushroom soup absolutely would’ve got it.The roast lunches were delicious and absolutely filling. All the sides to the roast cooked perfectly and the lamb & pork were both beautiful. Delicious meal and very helpful staff. Thank you for being so accommodating today, we booked very last minute for 8 people and didn’t realise they weren’t dog friendly. Rather than turning us away, they rearranged tables outside, put the umbrellas up and made sure we were comfortable with blankets. Amazing food and a great finish to our morning hike. We’ll be back.
