I only have 4 things to say, 1 Great ambiance 2 Traditional style, not messed with (log fire) 3 Attentive staff, eager to help 4 And food to die for Forgot! Local beer, tick Very reasonable prices (for what you get, it’s a steal !) And can’t wait to try agin Sorry 7 things to say Thanks everyone.
Three of us ate here - didn't book but managed to sit in the bar area by the fire. Good service by really attentive staff. Can recommend Friday evenings for a really cosy meal out in a good atmosphere.

We were pleased that we booked a table as it was very busy. My husband really enjoyed his soup starter, saying it reminded him of the soup his granny used to make (massive compliment). The steak pie slab was also a big hit and my gluten free hot chilli chicken was so delicious. Good service and a lovely ambience
