Lovely friendly independent cafe based in the church at Frizington. When we went we had booked because it gets packed out by local residents. My friend is local but I was visiting . We ordered tea for two and a lovely big pot with China cups and saucers arrived. More hot water to top up the pot no problem ! My friend had a delicious ( massive) omelette , salad and chips. I had the steak pie ( gorgeous gravy) , vegetables and again the wonderful home made chips ( best ever) . Crumbles...read full review

Amazing!Staying in the village as a base point to revisit childhood memories around the area, popped in for breakfast as it's on the doorstep. Absolutely lovely. Spotlessly clean, everyone friendly, food was hot, delicious and hopefully we will get chance to come again before we go home. A prime example of Cumbrian hospitality.

Very very friendly. Food I could not fault. Recommend by Carol R. Just incase I can't use the full name. Would not hesitate in anyway to recommend this establishment. Thankyou to all the staff that made us so welcome.
