Delicious food, friendly staff & dog friendly too. We had a lovely family lunch, the portions were so generous we had to order our desserts to go - didn’t want to miss out on the delicious cakes! Would 100% recommend.

Just had a lovely brunch with my daughter, sister and Mum.We had a lovely meal. Service was great and the menu was just right. Good amount of choice. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Cumbrian breakfast. And the Broccoli and Stilton soup with sourdough bread was flavoursome. When food arrived it was hot. The two ladies were very cheerful and friendly. We are def coming back here again

We called in to Grange on our way back from Lancaster. Hospitality was second to none. Jana was so welcoming. The cakes were delicious and the service was excellent. Will definitely call in again

We were looking for somewhere in Grange for a coffee and cake/scones and found a warm welcome and rapid service at S Cafe. Excellent quality coffee, and delicious, generous-sized scones - both cheese and fruit. It's not the cheapest cafe in Grange-over-Sands, but if you are looking for good quality light refreshments, we can thoroughly recommend.

Friendly welcome and efficient service. Good selection of food and drink if you're after a quick bite to eat. Soup, toasties and cakes. Coffee, tea and juices.

Visiting Grange over Sands for the first time, stopped here as passing time waiting for our train. The order was initially wrong, being informed by the waitress there was no chicken salad, so ordered something else, but the man with a scottish accent rectified this immediately with a huge portion of chicken in the sandwich, the cheese & pickle salad was very filling with a generous portion, the food arrived quickly and nicely presented on square plates. Cutlery & small napkins nicely presented in a wood holder.

We arrived to a lovely seating area outside with drinking bowls for the dog. The man serving was a delightful Scottish fellow called Gordon. I am gluten intolerant so I asked for a salad he was so accommodating and helpful also polite and friendly. He made the most wonderful ham salad with a poached egg on top. The service was second to none and we really felt looked after and considered. The food was lovely and it didn't cost the earth. Lovely cakes too ...I highly recommend the caramel shortbread. He also brought us out a jug of cold water with ice and replenished it without being asked. Very conscientious and all in all a really lovely experience. Thanks ? ? xxx

Arrived in a fairly large group, however no more than could be seated (my argument being if you've got seating be prepared to cope with that demand). After half the group ordered hot food; soups and beans on toast the rest of the group were informed that hot food would be unavailable as they couldn't cope. Therefore I ordered coffee and a slice of cake. Coffee arrived with the orders of hot food and drinks but cake took a further 10 minutes and two requests only to be curtly told they were busy. Would not return.Response to owner - I'm so sorry about your situation and possible loss. I appreciate your comments and your offer. I'm not after a refund. I should add that we had cycled from Blackpool so by the time we arrived I was quite hungry so to see half the group getting cooked food and then to have to wait twice as long for a slice of cake was disappointing. I do sense from other reviews it was a hiccup and do wish you well.

The bacon and or sausage barms are fantastic the coffee as the cafe says is the best in Grange the place has been refurbished since we were last in and is very nice, the menu has a wide choice and a great cake selection.
